Van Gogh moon set

  By  Alex Dantart
observatorio.info )

Here you can see the last young moon (taken last 18th of June) with the Moon's ashen glow visible.
Photo was taken from Zaragoza (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zaragoza) outskirts (Spain), but inside the city. Lights in the horizon are a mall center and the airport (red lights).
Also visible in the middle the highest mountain in the region: Moncayo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moncayo_Massif).
Most amazing from the photo:
- the wind sculpting the clouds in the sunset
- the fading from blue to orange, even almost shifting to green in the middle
Photo was taken with a standard reflex digital Nikon camera, with 3 seconds of exposure and it was not retouched digitally.
This strong wind is "tipically" from Zaragoza, it's called cierzo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cierzo)
I hope you like it !
