  Flaming Star & Tadpole Nebulae

    The Flaming Star Nebula (IC405) in the upper left and the "Tadpole" Nebula (IC410) are both located in the Auriga constellation about 1,500 and 12,000 light years away.

Equipment: TS Star71/347mm flatfield Apo, ATIK 383l+ CCD camera, Baader (Ha, SII, OIII) narrowband filters, Orion Atlas pro az/eq-g mount,

Exposure @-20°C: 18*1200s bin1x1 Halpha, 8*900s bin2x2 SII, 8*900s bin2x2 OIII, 10 hours in total

Software: DeepSkyStacker, Fitswork, Straton, Photoshop CC,

Image taken on the 28th and 29th of December 2016 in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) at an altitude of 322m.
