 Milky Way from 40,000 feet

I've been trying to capture this shot of the Milky Way from an airplane for over a year.
This was my final night photo captured during my flight home from Chile at 40,000ft.
My experience in Chile was breathtaking. The Atacama Desert night skies were absolutely incredible compared
to what I've seen in the Northern Hemisphere. New astronomical objects to
view really made that experience more enjoyable! I know I'll be back to Chile, that country has a piece of my soul now :)
The exposure was 5 seconds at ISO 51,200 and F2.8.
