2016 Mars Observations

Looking back on Mars observations in 2016, it was interesting to see the decrease in size over 7 months. Also the increase in phase
percentage between September and December since the Earth  traveled nearly 1/4th of the way around the Sun.
(due to retograde and relative position between the Sun, Earth and Mars)
Relative distance increase of 1.327 AU, (123,352,356 miles) between the first and final image.

All images captured from my home observatory in Pembroke Pines, Florida  using a Celestron
CPC800XLT telescope, ASI120MC-S camera and Orion Shorty 2X Barlow.
