Pinwheel-Galaxie Messier 101

The Pinwheel Galaxy Messier 101 is a face-on spiral galaxy distanced 21
 million light-years away from earth in the constellation Ursa Major.
Ngc5474 left in the image field is a peculiar dwarf galaxy, the gravitational
interaction between NGC 5474 and the Pinwheel Galaxy has strongly distorted the former.
